Winter Soup Class

Wednesday, January 29th: 5-8pm

Cozy soups brighten any chilly evening. Learn how to make your own nutritious Chicken Broth and three soul-warming soups including Tom Kha Gai, Chicken Soup with Ardelle's Dumplings, and Mushroom Soup with Farro. This is a hands-on class and each guest will leave with portions of each creation. 

Age Requirement: 12 years or older (Youth ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a registered adult)

Location: Cooking Kauai, Provisions Kitchen in Lawai.

All the needed ingredients, recipes, and tools will be prepared so we may dive in for a few hours of culinary joy, learning, and tasting. At the end of class, guests will enjoy a truly Kauai meal made with their own hands and new friends. In true local style, no one will leave hungry!

Our 1/3 acre homestead is located on Kauai's sunny South Shore, just ten minutes from Koloa and Poipu. The tropical property is surrounded by lychee, avocado, orange, citrus, and banana trees.

We want our guests to depart with new friends, a further understanding of Hawaii's cultures, and the confidence to make the same dishes at home.

Refund Policy

Due to limited seating and the upfront costs of food and its preparation, our classes are final and non-refundable.

Please think of signing up for our classes as you would purchasing a concert ticket-you can always send someone else in your place, but refunds cannot be issued.

Alternatively, you may reach out to us, and we will try our best to sell the seats on your behalf. If we do so, a future credit to a scheduled class will be issued.

Refunds will only be issued if Monkeypod Jam needs to shut down/cancel events due to unforeseen events or low participation (less than 6).
